Long hunts, short hunts, or any in between.
If you're looking for speed for that next cowboy match then the hunt is over.

The LH-04 rig takes the shooting experience of 7 time modern world champion Long Hunter, the leather expertise of Kirkpatrick, and rolls it into a beautiful, competitive, cowboy action rig. Built for speed, the new Long Hunter features hand molding for a perfect fit, rolled-out edges for smooth reholstering and exposed trigger guard with cut-down front for quick first shots. The extra-wide molded skirt is designed for comfort and stability and the slight drop with 8-degree muzzle-forward cant allows you to draw the revolver with breaking your wrist at an uncomfortable angle.

With these new features this is the rig for you:

1. A 2" drop holster with an 8 degree muzzle forward cant allows for a quick draw without having to break the wrist at an uncomfortable angle.

2.The paddle back holster in combination with the 2" drop lets the Long Hunter rig ride comfortably all day above the point of the hips.

3. These hand molded, flared top holsters are the most ridged all leather design in the Kirkpatrick lineup. The fronts have been cut down.for fast competitive draws with either hand.

4. To complete the package, we added a 3" tapered belt for comfort and a 6 loop bullet slide that can be positioned around the belt without removing the holsters.

5. Hand dyed for rich deep color, the Long Hunter rig is available in our new Chestnut color.

How do I determine what belt size to order?
Due to different body types and to the fact that everyone seems to wear their rig a bit differently, we ask that you submit two separate measurement when placing your order.

First, we will need to know your jean/pant size.

Second, we will need you to take an *actual measurement at the point which you will be wearing the rig. To determine the actual measurement, you should wrap a tape measure around yourself as if it were the rig. The tape measure should be taut enough that it does not fall off your sides, but not so tight that it digs into your clothing.

If this is your first rig and require additional help in determining the belt size, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-451-9394 and we will go over the information with you.
